Viva La Mexico!!!! 

I had soooo much fun, this was my first trip out of the USA so you can only imagine my excitement. 

Before arriving to Cancun I went to Mexico City:

The first site upon my arrival to Cancun, Mexico!!!

After the first night I woke up to the most AMAZING view:

We decided to go to the beach:

After unexpected events I was forced to take out my hair and rock it natural:

We took a boat ride to the island of Isla Mujeres. on that ride I went snorkeling which was the best experience.

Overall I had a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL trip!!! :-D

About a month ago I bought a flower from my job and decided i’ll see if it can grow in all this chaos, I named it Hope.

Hope is infinite. 

Day 2: it bloomed overnight…unfortunately I didn’t have any pix of day 1 because I didn’t expect it to bloom so soon.

Day 3: Another bloomed! Two blooms now. :-D

Day 4: Nothing really changed.

Day 5: 3 have bloomed!!!

TaDa!! that was thee outcome and I was very happy!!! :-D

A couple weeks ago I attended a women’s empowerment event by ‘Those Girls Are WIld’ and Andrea was in attendance. The event was great, i met a ton of great women and gained plenty of inspiration!!! PLUS I GOT A COOL GIFT BAG!!! (video coming soon)

So I went to Joya in Brooklyn with Tuan X to try Thai food for the first time.

I didn’t really like the atmosphere and the wait time was a huge turn off but the food was really good and reasonably priced. For an appetizer I ordered a curry puff that came with some amazing dipping sauce. (photo below)

The flavors in that was ridiculous but it only came with two. Tuan ordered the Fried calamari which was disappointing. It didn’t have much of any flavor and it was a rubbery chew. (photo below)

My main dish was Pad See Yue sauteed fresh float noodles with chicken, Chinese broccoli and egg in brown sauce. (photo below)

Tuan ordered koong kratiam sauteed shrimp with broccoli, cabbage, carrots and onions, in a chill basil sauce. (photo below)

My dish was extremely delicious. His dish was pretty good as well. overall I enjoyed the resturant thoroughly. I am officially a Thai food lover!!
